The CP Family Network families were brought together by our children’s birth injuries and the resulting cerebral palsy. We are fortunate that our children’s financial needs have been taken care of, but we still have the same struggles of finding legal, medical and support resources that all cerebral palsy families need. Two of the ways we are doing this are the Survival Guide for each of the 50 states plus Washington, D.C. and the Care Guide to record your child’s medical and care needs.

Survival Guides for All 50 States plus Washington, D.C.

The Survival Guides were designed to provide information and resources to assist you and your child with everything from everyday activities to emergency situations. They were developed as a joint effort between a team of medical experts and parents of children with cerebral palsy.

These free publications include national and state-specific resources for:

Care Guide
Medical & Educational Resources

The Care Guide was created to help organize and track important health information and resources for yourself and your child’s other caregivers. It’s like your own medical record. You can write on the pages of this PDF and save it on your computer or print it out to take to doctor or other provider visits.
